RAP-Grip
The RAP-Grip will aid the novice and experienced archer and coach.
- Help the archer to learn and maintain the correct bow hand position by providing feedback.
- Provide a stable and repeatable bow hand contact when using exercise bands, for example for the skills and drills exercises.
- Provide a method of maintaining technique when the archer has no access to a bow.
- Provide visual feedback on string twisting.
In addition to the above the RAP-Grip is truly ambidextrous so it suits left and right handed archers equally.
The RAP-Grip provides the most effective feedback when the top edge is horizontal so three versions are available with different bow-hand angles.
Therefore, archers should use the version that provides a comfortable angle for their bow hand with the top edge horizontal.
Alternatively the RAP-Grip that most closely matchers the archer's bow should be chosen.
- High angle grip. Angle of about 42 degress (typical of a "high" recurve grip). Blue sides.
- Medium angle grip. Angle of about 30 degress (typical of a standard recurve grip). Grey sides.
- Low angle grip. Angle of about 20 degress (typical of a compound grip). Red sides.

Each version is available with a choice of two resistance tubes.
-
Yellow tube: giving a "draw weight" of approximately 8lbs at 28inches.
This is ideal for developing/changing technique.
-
Green tube: giving a "draw weight" of approximately 12lbs at 28inches.
This is more suited for maintaining technique when there is no access to a bow.
